In 1994, after years of monkeying around with Atari computers, new Apple Macintosh computers, the Usenet and the Internet; this thing called the World Wide Web caught my eye. I made a little website dedicated to the cartoon character Zorak (of Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast), which I then needed to rebrand after the Cartoon Network wanted the domain name.
And thus, lonemantis.com was born.
It has survived in various forms since then, and has served various purposes. At one point, it was simply a blog I used to catalog the goings on and various things that annoyed me.
I think that’s where we’re headed again.
